Privacy Policy
Publicador de Canales · Effective date: 30 October 2026
Publicador de Canales ("the app") is a private desktop tool operated by Harold Maldonado ("I") to publish and manage videos on my own YouTube channels. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, stored and protected, and how access can be revoked.
1. YouTube API Services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
2. Data the app accesses
After the channel owner signs in with Google and grants permission, the app accesses only data of the channels he owns:
- channel information (channel ID, name and upload playlist);
- the channel's videos and their metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, privacy status, publication date, thumbnails, subtitles and playlists);
- YouTube Analytics reports of the channel (views, watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, geography and estimated revenue).
The app does not access the data of any other YouTube user, does not read comments or private messages, and does not collect names, emails or any personal information of viewers.
3. How the data is used
- to upload videos to the owner's channels and schedule them;
- to update the metadata, thumbnails, subtitles and playlists of the owner's videos;
- to show the owner the performance of his channels so he can plan new videos.
The data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than those listed.
4. Storage and security
The app runs only on the owner's computer. There is no server and no database. The OAuth access tokens issued by Google are stored in a local folder on that computer and are never sent anywhere except to Google's APIs. Analytics data is displayed on screen and, at most, saved as local working notes; it is not uploaded to any other service.
5. Sharing
No data obtained through the YouTube API Services is sold, shared, transferred or disclosed to any third party.
6. Retention and deletion
Data is kept only as long as needed to manage the channels. The owner can delete the stored tokens at any time by removing the local token folder. Access can also be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. After revocation the app can no longer access any YouTube data, and any locally stored data is deleted within 30 days.
7. Cookies
The app is a desktop program and does not use cookies. This website does not use cookies or tracking.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
