Publicaciones YT
A private desktop tool used by Harold Maldonado to publish and manage the videos of his own YouTube channels.
What it does
Publicaciones YT is a small command-line program that runs only on its owner's computer. Through the YouTube API Services it lets the owner of the channels:
- upload finished videos to his own channels and schedule their publication date;
- edit titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, subtitles and playlists of his own videos;
- read the analytics of his own channels (views, watch time, audience and revenue reports) to plan new content.
The channels it manages belong to the same owner, for example Timelapse Lords, Destinos Lejanos, Atlas de la Materia and Creative Dreams.
Who can use it
It is not a public service and is not offered to other users. Only the channel owner signs in, with his own Google accounts, through Google's standard OAuth consent screen.
Google sign-in and permissions
The app requests these Google permissions, and uses each one only for the purpose listed:
youtube.upload: upload videos to the owner's channels.youtube.force-ssl: edit the owner's videos, thumbnails, subtitles and playlists.yt-analytics.readonlyandyt-analytics-monetary.readonly: read the analytics and revenue reports of the owner's channels.
